Treat Yourself to Tea
Every week I try to think of something new or different to treat myself to. And by treat, I don’t mean a piece of triple chocolate cake or salt and vinegar chips (although I admit it, those are mighty tasty). Instead of these obvious but unhealthy treats, think outside the box.
This week, I decided to take a walk down memory lane. When I was a teenager I wanted to own my own tea house. I loved drinking all sorts of different teas, from delicate Oolong to spicy Chai. But my favorite has always been Jasmine Green Tea. I love how a warm cup can perfume a room. I also love that tea is choc full of antioxidants, just enough caffeine and other great things.
So this week (and maybe even after), I’m making a small pot of Jasmine Green Tea to go with my morning snack. It feels slightly luxurious and helps to curb my hunger and cravings.
